A secluded retreat, a private cruise and a visit to a castle compete in the Luxury category.
2. Camping, Caravan or Chalet
A fun-loving family of four judge treehouses at Lanrick, a secluded, hand-crafted cabin near Loch Lomond and a campsite on a remote Hebridean island.
3. Waterfront
The waterfront category sees bothies in Oban, a retreat on Davaar Island and a boathouse on Arran competing to win.
4. Mind, Body and Soul
JJ Chalmers and Grado uncover the best holiday Escapes in Scotland. This episode sees a father and daughter from Dumfriesshire decide on Scotland's greatest mind, body and soul escape.
5. Historic
A retreat with a military past, a 500-year-old castle and a former train station hotel are the contenders.
6. Adventure
A trip to remote Doune Knoydart, bothies in Dumfries and Galloway with their own activity centre, and an eco-log cabin village set in an 8,000-acre estate in the heart of the Highlands.
7. Episode 7
Three Scottish escapes are judged as part of wildcard week, but only one can make it through to the grand final.
8. The Final
JJ Chalmers and Grado present the grand final as seven Scottish escapes battle it out to become Scotland's Greatest Escape.
