Season 1 Plot
To protect herself and her family, Hong Ra-on disguises herself as a man and counsels men on dating. Due to a love letter she wrote for a client, she meets Crown Prince Hyo Myeong. Ra-on is unaware that he is the Crown Prince, and Hyo Myeong is unaware that Ra-on is a woman. Soon after Ra-on is forced to become a eunuch by loan sharks, and the Crown Prince and Ra-on become interested in each other. As Ra-on tries to survive the palace and the Crown Prince navigates his journey to become king, will their love prosper?

As the other eunuch trainees try their best to the three exams, Sam-nom tries her best to fail, but someone wants to make sure she stays.
3. I Will Be Right Behind
Sam-nom is stunned when she sees her exam result for her blank answer sheet. The king's mental state is becoming increasingly unstable.
4. After the Play Has Ended
At the king's birthday banquet, the crown prince plans to seek permission for regency from the Qing envoy, who's notoriously hard to please.

No one can identify or locate the mysterious woman who performed the solo dance. Sam-nom requests permission to attend the Lantern Festival.
6. When You Want to Say Unspeakable Secret
The crown prince's attitude toward Sam-nom completely changes. Eunuch Ma tells the Qing envoy that he can bring what the envoy desires most in Joseon.

The crown prince defends the young girl who's accused of treason, but poison discovered in the king's meal gets linked back to the girl's father.

Ra-on's mother is alarmed by what Ra-on has been doing. The crown prince finds evidence of corruption committed by a minister from the Kim family.

Realizing the danger of her staying in the palace, Ra-on secretly prepares to leave. The crown prince orders a search for the attacker who escaped.
14. Misty Road
The crown prince is deeply affected by Ra-on's absence. The chief eunuch reminds Byeong-yeon where Ra-on needs to be. The queen gives birth to a baby.
15. All the Lies Seemed True
The crown prince wishes to know what Ra-on's true intentions really were. The chief eunuch senses that there's a traitor within the Baekwoon Group.
16. The World That You Dream Of
The news of Hong Gyeong-rae's return shocks everyone. Even while putting her life at risk, Ra-on wishes to reenter the palace to meet her father.
17. The End for the Beginning
One month after the chaos at Hong Gyeong-rae's interrogation, Premier Kim notifies the queen that her baby boy will soon become the crown prince.
18. Moonlight Drawn by Clouds
Jeong Yak-yong gets summoned to the palace to treat the crown prince, and Ra-on follows in disguise. Rumor has it that the crown prince is dying.
