Season 1 Plot
The HGTV spin on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is scheduled to air in early 2020. The series will showcase great stories, inspired volunteers and mind-blowing home renovations for families who give back to their communities. The whole-home overhauls will include interior, exterior and landscaping—all completed within seven days while the family is sent away for the week.

1. All in the Mosley Family
After welcoming three teens deemed "unadoptable" into her home, a single mom with two kids of her own is forced to move her family into her mom's cramped place. Jesse Tyler Ferguson and the team give them a fresh start in a new house with tons of space.
2. This Land Is Your Land
A young man and his siblings relocated to Ogden, Utah, as refugees after experiencing a devastating loss in the Congo. Now, Jesse Tyler Ferguson gives the family life-changing news before Tamara Day and volunteers build them a modern-tropical home.
3. A Teachers Journey
A caring teacher who works with at-risk teens dedicates his life to helping his students, even after suffering a major injury. Jesse, the designers, hundreds of volunteers and two special guests work around the clock to renovate his family’s home.
4. Starting from Scratch
A firefighter, his mom and three kids reside in a small apartment and need a new start after the terrible loss of his wife.
5. Renovating a Time Capsule
The 1970s-style home of a non-profit co-founder gets a facelift.
6. For Home and Country
In a show first, the team surprises two families with a duplex. The military families struggled to adjust to civilian life after active duty, so Jesse and the team enlist volunteers to construct the home in a community built just for veterans.
7. From Tornado to Tear Down
Jesse and the team step in to fix a tornado-damaged home for a mother and daughter.
8. Serving Those Who Serve Us
A family that dedicated their lives to serving the country now serves the less fortunate, but time has not been kind to their 100-year-old Craftsman. It’s up to Jesse and the design team to help restore the historical home to its former glory.
9. The Favorite Neighbors
A couple who has opened their home to homeless kids gets a renovation to fit everyone that needs a safe haven.
10. To Protect and Serve
A police officer's family home is transformed into a spa-like retreat.
