Against his staff's wishes, obstetrician Sakura Konotori accepts a pregnant woman who has had no prenatal care, saying the baby isn't to blame.
2. Episode 2
A woman in her final month of pregnancy gets hit by a car and is rushed to the hospital. Sakura wants to perform a C-section, but Kase disagrees.
3. Episode 3
Sakura reunites with a girl who was born blind due to her mother contracting rubella during pregnancy. A pregnant woman collapses in the street.
4. Episode 4
A couple must make a tough choice after the wife shows some concerning symptoms. Shimoya feels worthless as a doctor for how she handled their case.
5. Episode 5
Sakura treats a middle schooler from a struggling family who didn't know she was eight months pregnant until she collapsed at school.
6. Episode 6
A woman who conceived after years of fertility treatment reaches her final month of pregnancy. A single father rushes his baby to the hospital.
7. Episode 7
After Komatsu receives an offer to work at a maternity clinic, she takes offense when Shinomiya calls them unsafe places to give birth.

A woman in the final stages of pregnancy still grieves for her stillborn child. Shinomiya tells a patient that her baby has a congenital anomaly.

A girl who Shinomiya watched over since her birth suddenly es away. A couple with a prematurely born baby struggles to accept difficult truths.
10. Episode 10
Aizawa covers the perinatal center for an article. Later, Sakura hears details of his birth for the first time from a woman who knew his mother.
