Welcome back to Hawkins! Now, batten down the hatches, because a storm is a-brewing.
Netflix announced the release date for Season 2 of its hit supernatural drama "Stranger Things" — Friday, October 27 ... just in time for Halloween.
That's apt since some spooky stuff is going down in Hawkins, Indiana. The new teaser promises: "1984 only gets stranger."

Season 2 is set about a year after the events of the first season. Not much is known about the plot, other than that there's a new evil that continues to struggle with memories of his abduction to the Upside Down. And there are some new cast , including Sean Astin as a love interest for Winona Ryder and a couple of new kids in school.
Netflix also released the first poster for Season 2, which depicts a rager of a storm hitting town. Whether it's literal or metaphorical, we'll have to wait and find out.
