Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" got to celebrate a two-season renewal in March, but sadly, it could have been the show's last one.

While it doesn't sound like that decision has officially been made, star "Living Biblically," he participated in the show's TCA Saturday, and reporters caught up with him afterward with questions about "The Big Bang Theory." It was then that he hinted Season 12 could conclude the sitcom's long and successful run.

"The only manner in which the cast has discussed wrapping [the show] has been that we're all going to be very sad when that day comes," he said (via E! News). "But I think at this point everyone's very comfortable with 12 seasons being a good time to go home and see our families."

Again, Galecki only discussed the possibility of Season 12 being the final season, but fans should know that the end will have to come at some point -- and it could be soon. Although CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl told Season 10 being the last, we've already been luck to get as much as we have.

"The Big Bang Theory" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
